PlugTalk isn't on the App Store. macOS will warn you the first time. Here's how to bypass it (60 seconds).
DOWNLOAD
Click 'Buy', complete checkout, get your license + DMG download link via email.
DRAG TO APPLICATIONS
Open the DMG, drag PlugTalk.app into Applications. Standard macOS install.
RIGHT-CLICK → OPEN
First open: macOS shows a warning. Right-click PlugTalk.app, choose Open, click Open in the dialog. One-time only — future launches work normally.
PASTE LICENSE → DONE
Welcome screen appears. Paste your license key, click Activate. Plug something. Hear the chaos.

QUESTIONS?
Does this work on Intel Macs?+
No. Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) only. macOS 14 (Sonoma) or newer. PlugTalk uses IOKit notifications and modern Swift APIs that don't run on older systems.
Is the app signed and notarized?+
Yes. PlugTalk is signed with a Developer ID Application certificate and notarized by Apple. Gatekeeper accepts it on first launch — no right-click workaround needed.
Will it drain my battery?+
No. PlugTalk is event-driven via IOKit notifications — it only runs when something plugs in or out. Idle CPU is 0%.
Can I upload my own sounds?+
Yes. Settings → Sounds → Your sounds. Upload MP3 files (max 5 sec, 1 MB each). Use them across multiple sound packs.
What's the refund policy?+
7 days, no questions asked. Email hello@thenightwatcher.online with your license key — full refund within 24 hours.
Will it interrupt my Zoom call?+
Only if your colleagues plug things in. Mute specific devices in the per-device settings — by VID:PID, so all Apple Magic Keyboards stay silent at once.
What about USB security?+
PlugTalk only reads device metadata (VID, PID, name, location). It doesn't intercept data, store anything off-device, or send anything anywhere. The activation server only verifies your license.
